Chronic Venous Ulcer

Abstract

This 54 year old female patient suffered with this ulcer for the past 4 years. Initial start of the ulcer is unknown. Before she was admitted to the clinic as an outpatient on a weekly basis she was treated two times per week at a local wound care clinic. No Ankle Brachial Index was ever done and no application of compression was applied. Since she is a foreigner she paid privately for the treatments.
