A terminal disease - amongst nurses – learned helplessness

Abstract


There is a really sad condition that has reached epidemic
proportions among our nurse leaders. It is a slow developing
illness and you hardly notice you have it – until one day
when you need to take action on a key project or on
donor funding and you just can’t. It just seems impossible
to deal with all those people who have power.
