The membership growth of GEMS has continued unabated,
especially amongst employees on public service salary levels 1-5. We now provide healthcare cover to more than 2% of the South African population. The reason for our growth is that government employees know that our focus falls squarely on providing members with “access to excellent healthcare that is both affordable and administratively efficient”.
