Men’s health - Barber’s Rash
Abstract
Barber’s rash, also known as sycosis barbae or folliculitis, is an infection of the hair follicles. The infection is typically caused by Staphylococcus aureus, a type of bacteria that normally lives on the skin. These bacteria generally do not cause infections unless they enter the body through a cut or a wound, such as from shaving.
